This yoga class is specifically for TWEENS – those children who no longer wish to be called or placed with children but still love to play around. The tween years are the perfect time to begin transitioning fun play into lifelong habits of enjoyment.
We invite children ages 9ish-13ish to join us for a class focused on practicing health through yoga. Our class time will be spent in yoga postures, breathing, taking time in silence, and building positive character traits such as respect, joy, integrity, and responsibility.
Over the 6 weeks, participants will not only learn and practice yoga but also learn the basics of how to move their bodies and establish a regular yoga practice.
