Four Unique Class Series
Beyond Bending Yoga brings years of experience and instruction to each class. Sign ups are now open for these ‘summer series’ classes.
Each series consists of 10 class sessions. The cost for the any one complete series is $125. Current Members of BBY Online receive a discount of $25 on the complete series, bringing the cost to $100.
Drop-ins are welcome if the class is not full.
Gentle Yoga | Mondays @ 5:30 – 6:30 pm | June 6 – August 15
Gentle yoga offers solid movement with a ‘no frills / no fuss’ approach to each posture. This class is great for new students, seasoned students looking for a gentle class, prenatal students, and students needing assistance on and off the floor. The pace is slow, the explanations are complete, and the difficulty level is low. (no class July 4)
Yinyasa Yoga | Mondays @ 6:45 – 7:45 pm | June 6 – August 15
The first part of this class uses Yin Yoga to create space and integrity in both our joints and our minds. The latter part of the class includes flowing repetition of movements which develop strength and balance along with breathwork to facilitate heat generation and deep internal awareness. Moderately challenging. (no class July 4)
Morning Vinyasa | Thursday @ 9:00 – 10:00 am | June 9 – August 18
Wake up your body, mind, and spirit with this All-Levels Vinyasa Flow class. We’ll start each class breathing before slowly building intensity and heat. This class is great for all yogis as several options are always offered to be sure that each posture meets your body. (no class July 21)
Movement and Meditation | Thursday @ 10:15 – 11:15 am | June 9 – August 18
One of the primary purposes of the yoga asana and pranayama practice is to prepare for seated meditation. In our movement and meditation class we’ll do just that: take time to move and warm the body, utilize the breath to clear space in the mind, and then enjoy time practicing and learning about meditation.
